Manaqib Sitikhadijah Pdf 55 MANAQIB SITI KHADIJAH – "Sha Allah; with the will of Allah" -  (The blessings of God will be bestowed on him), is a five-volume work by the famous Persian theologian and philosopher, Al-Suyuti (1445-1505). At present, there are two editions of this work in existence. The first edition with Arabic script was published in 1481 under supervision of Al-Suyuti's son, Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-'Alawi al-Suyuti. This edition is in two volumes. The second edition was printed in Konya, Turkey, in 1495-1496 under permission of Al-Suyuti's successor, his son Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Alawi al-Nasiri. This is an abridged version of the first with few additions. The two editions are almost identical. The third edition is a facsimile edition of the second with corrections made by Dr. 'Abdul Wahhab Jebril al-'Uthmani who was Al-Alawi's student for many years. This, too, was published in Konya in 1428 AH. This edition has five volumes. Asbab al-Khitat, which records the events that transpired during the Prophet's lifetime are included. The last volume contains an epilogue of Al-Suyuti's life and times, as well as his commentaries on certain verses of the Qur'an. Al-Suyuti has provided a large number of references throughout the book to explain historical matters and issues related to Islam. The work consists of 36 chapters containing 5787 verses divided into 1835 sections according to their length. The chapters are also divided into sub-chapters (Babs). The book is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the blessings of God on the dignified Prophet of Islam, Muhammad, peace be upon him. The second part deals with the blessings of God on the companions of Muhammad. It is considered that Al-Suyuti was not satisfied with this work and drafted another work called Manaqib al-Shi'ah (“Glory of Shi'ah"). Dr. 'Abdul Wahhab Jebril al-'Uthmani has made a number of corrections in this edition and added a few chapters related to doctrine and philosophy. The book has been translated by J. Milton Cowan under the title The Blessedness of Muhammad. This is available in Arabic and English. Dr. 'Abdul Wahhab Jebril al-'Uthmani has also translated Manaqib al-Shi'ah into English under the title God's Blessing on the Shi'ite Community. It is considered that Al-Suyuti's original intention was to write a comprehensive treatise as a commentary on the Qur'an as he himself says as follows: Â"I have completed another work which I intended to be a comprehensive commentary for all those who love God and study His Book, i.e. cfa1e77820
